I HATE rude people

This morning I get Ryan (who is feeling better Thank God) and we go off to Target to buy popcorn, an extra blanket, and a towel to put under his car seat in the new truck.

Well I am in the candy aisle to get him some Reese's Cups and there is what I thought was a stranded cart in the way. I move it to see the bags of candy and this woman comes from the end of the aisle and goes to move it right back in front of me.

FYI: She was shopping at the other side of the aisle and not anywhere near where her cart was.

I look at her with this shocked face because what I would have expected her to say would be something like, "Oh I am so sorry to be in your way." Just like I do whenever I am standing where someone is trying to shop.

But instead she looks at me and goes, "Um, can you scoot over? You have plenty of space on the other side of your cart." And she was being (excuse me here) a smart ass bitch and not nice or apologetic in any way. (Because when I moved her cart I started scooting mine over to where hers was. So when she went to pull it back through my cart was in her way.)

And to be honest if she would have said "Oh I am sorry about that." I would have been all like, "Oh, I am sorry too because I didn't realize it was your cart." And would have so moved over for her. But she was being a bitch and acting like she was the only person in the store shopping.

I shake my head and say no. Why should I be considerate of her when she expects everyone to shop around her cart and not move it. I mean REALLY?

I was pissed at this point because I just couldn't believe the nerve of this lady.

So I say, "I moved your cart out of the way so I could move my cart over. You're shopping at the end of the aisle and no where near where you parked your cart!"

This has always been a pet peeve of mine. When people leave their carts in the middle of the aisle and then walk off with no care about the people who are also trying to shop. Oh, and it makes me really mad when they do it and have a child sitting in the cart!

And then she got on the phone and started running her mouth to the person she was talking to. While I just started talking to Ryan about what kind of candy he wanted But in my head I was thinking about yanking the phone out of her hand and shoving it somewhere that she would have a hard time getting it back.

I HATE rude people!

What do yall think?

I have been watching The Bachelor for a couple years now and have to say I love it. I love the drama, the cheesy girls who all have walls up, and the music they replay at every romantic scene (ever notice it's the same music?). I laughed at how stupid Rozalyn made herself look on the women tell all and have always thought that Ali seemed really drunk when she was sitting with Jake on the couch figuring out if she should leave or not.

So have you heard that Jason and Molly will be getting married on March 8th and we will be able to watch on ABC?

They both along with Melissa were in the most talked about drama since this show has been on. So what do you think about them? Will you watch the wedding?

Me? Honest I do think what Jason did was a jerky thing to do. BUT I think it would have been worse if he would have stayed with Melissa just because of what the uproar from the fans and everyone would be. I would NEVER want someone to stay with me if they didn't love me. Yes he should have done it apart from the show but that's what it is. They signed up to have their lives taped whether good or bad. I hope that him and Molly are happy. They both sure have gotten enough punishment for what happened and I couldn't imagine what they go through walking down the street together.

I'm Just Sayin'....

I can not stand the Octomom Nadya Suleman! She is on The View and just annoys me so much!

If she doesn't like all the media attention - stay off the damn Radar.com and all the talk shows!

If you think that you taking care of so many kids by yourself is a good thing you are sadly MISTAKEN!

If you didn't have a job and already had six kids then you shouldn't have gone back in to get pregnant AGAIN!

She says she sleeps for 2 hrs a night. That is why she is so insane!

And if you are asking people to help you with donations DON'T go spend $1000 on makeup! (TMZ.COM)

That is all. So annoying!

2010 Baby Names

Hmmm, I am not sure how the top 2010 names have been picked when it's only February but they have. Parenting.com have come up with the top 50 names of 2010.

Ryan is #13! And his middle name, Anthony, is #50 which surprised me.

When we picked his name we wanted something cute but not out there. I still can't believe that Courtney Cox named her daughter CoCo. I even think Apple is better then that.

Boy Top 5 -

1.) Aiden
2.) Jayden
3.) Max
4.) Riley
5.) Liam (which I love but didn't know anything about this name when we had Ryan)

Girl Top 5 -

1.) Ella
2.) Ava
3.) Grace
4.) Lolita (what? really?)
5.) Emma

Find the rest of the list here: Parenting 2010 Baby Names

Oh, and if I would have had a girl I would now want to name her Bella. And I haven't even seen the vampire movie so I think I had that name first and they just took my idea : )!!

Actually we had decided that if we had a girl the name would be Jaime.

So where do you stand on this list?

Is there any name that you now wished you would have used?

And what names did you have out if you had the other gender. Like if you had a boy what were you going to name the baby if it was a girl?

Just Askin...

What are you going this weekend? Just curious : )

Me: I am getting Joe ready to go out of town for the 45 days. What am I going to do without him FOR THAT LONG!? And just spending some family time together before he leaves.

Oh, and I might be throwing Geotrax in the trash due to the ten thousand temper tantrums it causes a day!! We really do love it but sometimes I am just not so sure.

You might want to check in on me after a week to make sure I haven't ran away : ) Just kidding...

On the nightstand...

I have been trying to read more because I just love it but it's so hard to just sit for even a couple minutes and pick up a book. But the last couple weeks I have made it a point to just take a bath or stay up a little later and read a couple chapters.

Right now I am reading Cocktails for Three by Madeleine Wickham (or Sophie Kinsella) and it's a pretty good book. The last one of hers I read (Sleeping Arrangements) I HATED! But I am about half way through this one and it's worth reading.

It's about three woman who are at different places in their lives but still take the time to meet for cocktails once a month. One is dating a married man (which I don't like), one is pregnant, and the other is trying to make up for her fathers past.

Now I will say that the one thing I hate about her books is that there is always someone sleeping outside of their marriage. That is why I hated Sleeping Arrangements so much. But it's weird because when she writes as Sophie Kinsella she doesn't have that kind of story line.

So you might want to try it if you can get past that. You will either hate it or love it after the first chapter.

What are you reading? Or want to read?

Check me out...

On Facebook : )

My whole family stays in touch with Facebook so finally last night I sat down and made a page and am so glad that I did : ) It makes it so easier to talk to people who you may not be able to talk to that much.

Happy Valentines Day...

I saw something similar to this on another blog and wanted to do it too for Valentines Day...

- Where did you meet your hubby? We actually met in high school and became best friends for about six years before we started dating. We always had a crush on each other but never did anything about it till after we graduated.

- How long have you been married? This year will be five years. We have been together for nine.

- What is the best thing about your hubby? He is so loyal. And even after being together so long we have so much fun together. He is supportive of me and makes me feel like the most important person in this world (along with the baby of course).

- How did he propose? He proposed on Dec 23, 2003. We were doing the whole Christmas thing and he surprised me with it. I didn't expect it AT ALL. And he did it in front of my family which is what I always wanted.

- Favorite wedding memory. We didn't have a honeymoon so we stayed a couple nights at a really really nice hotel in Houston. We left the wedding and because neither one of us had eaten we stopped by taco bell and then went to the hotel and watched a movie (guess who) and then ....ya know (had another wedding dance).

And the next day was fathers day so we took a break from the hotel and brought cup cakes and ice cream to my parents house because all my family was there and I wanted to see my dad and both my grandpa's which I never get to see because they live out of town (Nebraska and Colorado).

- What is the most romantic thing he has done for you? Hmm...probably this last Christmas when he got me the new computer. I LOVE Survivor and for Christmas I wanted a Mac computer so bad. He got it and then printed out clues for me to find it (like when they get tree mail). And he did it over at my parents house with my parents and my brothers girlfriend there.

It's so funny how you're life can change from high school. I remember we were standing in front of a friends house and he told me that he was in love with me and that is when my life changed. I am truly so happy to be married and a mommy and couldn't ever imagine being anywhere else.

What are some of your favorite memories with your hubby?

Just Askin

What is everyone doing for Valentines Day?

- What did you get your hubby? < -- Mine got a new gun and a new truck!

- What did he get for you? <-- I got Photoshop (Woo Hoo) and a new truck (WOO HOO)!

And it's so funny because we usually don't do anything because we are just kinda over it after ten years. But this year just seems to be different. (Actually I always do a little something for it but never to this extent).

But we just got back from Wal-Mart and it was packed like it was Christmas Eve. I never knew Valentines Day was such a busy holiday : )

Friday Favorite (on Saturday) - Again

I think I should change this to Saturday night favorite? Just kidding. I have just been so busy last night and tonight. And here is why....

My Friday Favorite is MY NEW TRUCK!!

It's GORGEOUS! Mineral Gray, four doors, DVD player built into the radio, heated seats, garage door opened on the top part (which is great because we ALWAYS are losing ours), and I can plug my IPhone into it and listen to the music on there. And it has the touch screen for the radio and I can upload pictures on it and use it as a screen saver (who knew!)

And to my wonderful hubby who has definitely been spoiling me lately!

Worst. Blogger. Ever.

I know I know. I haven't post at all this week or commented on any blogs. But I am back with a new design and happy about the way everything looks! I also changed the Blogaholic Design so please go check that out too : )

And don't forget about my giveaway!

- I'll get on tonight and do a Friday Favorite as well as comment on the peeps who have shown me some love this week. Now I have to put together Geotrax for the 3456th time today!

Friday Favorite!

This Friday I am awarding the favorite too Fisher Price Geotrax Systems!

Ryan LOVES these things and is constantly putting them together and taking them apart all day. They are easy for him to snap together himself, they can be put together a hundred different ways, and they are a great price. The individual trains can be a tad bit expensive ($25ish) but they are totally worth the money. And Ryan mainly drives his hot wheels cars on them so they are good for cars or the trains.

I am even planning a Geotrax Birthday Party for him where everyone brings a Geotrax present! Too much fun!

You can check them out more here - Geotrax

Too Cute

I was going through my pictures yesterday and found some that just made me smile. Don't you love and hate seeing pictures of your baby when they were younger? I miss him that young but have loved watching him grow up. And I so miss the curls!

The Biggest Loser...

So because my husband is leaving for 45 days I have figured that I would hit the diet hard and try to be twenty/twenty five pounds lighter when he comes home. That's actually my goal weight.

I have already lost twenty pounds and have maintained that for six months but now I am ready to jump on the diet band wagon again and try to stay away from the ice cream for the next couple weeks.

Oh and this is a task. Because Ryan doesn't nap anymore it is so hard for me to find time for work out. But I have figured out a couple things that might help. And they might just help you too : )

- First thing is just walking in place in my living room when Ryan is busy playing without needing my help or attention. Even if it is just for five minutes at a time. This is how I lost the first twenty pounds because I just took it an hour at a time and tried to walk for ten minutes every time I got the chance.

- Writing EVERYTHING down! For me it is easier because it shows me really how much I am eating. Even writing down the handful of popcorn that I mindlessly eat while watching The Biggest Loser.

- Taking it one day at a time. Because if not I get so overwhelmed with what I ate yesterday or will eat tomorrow. And I am not one of those people who can plan out their meals because if I am suppose to eat Subway and just don't want it I won't eat it.

- Letting myself have an eating day once every two weeks. Because if not I will go insane!

- Hanging up the clothes that I want to get into and picturing how cute I will look in them : )

- Drinking more water. In the afternoon after I have done all my running around.

- Knowing that once I reach my goal I will not only be healthier but feel so much better about myself. I might even do that self portrait that Brandi wants everyone to do : )

So cross your fingers and wish me luck.

Do you have any other weight loss tips? If so I would LOVE to hear them!

What is the one song you can listen to over and over again?

Me: I Shall Believe by Matt Brouwer. What's cool is this guy is from around Houston and I was able to track down his email and have talked to him a couple times : ) I just love this song because it is so true. Every time I seem to step to far away from God I always come back and he is waiting there open armed.

45 days.

Joe (the hubby) leaves for the Gulf this weekend and will be gone for 45 days! I know! So long! And what makes it so bad is that he will be gone on Valentine's Day which is one of my favorite holidays! And usually he is able to use Skype so we can still talk at night or he will just turn off the mic and we can watch him work. But this time they won't have Internet service or phone service or anything for three weeks while they are out there!

So I have decided to make him an envelope that he can open on Valentine's Day for his present because he can't take anything more than that and we can't send packages to him either.

This is where I need some good ideas. What should I put in this envelope? I have decided a couple pictures of us together, a letter from both me and Ryan, and a "I love Daddy" page that's colored by Ryan. But do you have any other good ideas that you think he would like?

I am open for all suggestions : )

We are also making a "Countdown for Daddy to come home" that we will tear one day off every morning for Ryan and a pic of daddy to kiss goodnight when it's time for bed.

He has been gone for a week before but never this long : (
